AM 2009 selections:

  • How We Livin’ by Stept Productions (USA)
  • Brand New Day by NSF Productions (Canada)
  • Hands Up by Secondhand Productions (Sweden)
  • The Affiliates by ESK Media (Canada)
  • Reflections by Mighty Jamming Production (Japan)
  • Shoot Me by Chaoz Productions (Norway)
  • Outdoor Graduation by Voleurz (Canada)

The IF3 AM judging committee would like to thank all of the film producers who sent in their movies from all over the world, from Japan, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, France, USA and Canada. This has been the most complete and diverse group of submissions we’ve had to work with. There was some great and entertaining movies to screen, and it wasn’t easy to narrow it down to seven films.

Additionally, The North Face and Red Bull will be presenting the TNF Outdoor Screenings which will be free and take place in the Old Montreal (Notre Dame Street, corner of St. Jean) on the 17th and 20th of September - to open and close the IF3.

On September 17th the world premiere of "Transition" a film on Simon Dumont made by Riley Poor will be screened after a long two-year wait. Then, on September 20th there will be a presentation of the "Edge of Never" - a film inspired from a nonfiction book that follows the story of a young Kye Petersen, who travels to Chamonix, France, to ski the route that killed his famous big-mountain skiing father, Trevor Petersen.
